Reiki has its origins in Japanese and Egyptian cultures. Reiki is a non-invasive treatment and is performed with the client fully clothed. It is a simple technique for transferring healing energy from the giver to the receiver. 

The word is "Ray-Key" means Universal Life Energy. The energy flows through the hands of the therapist to the areas which need the healing and balancing. To enhance the treatment the therapist uses unique Reiki symbols. If your life force energy is low, then you are more likely to feel unwell or feel stress, if it is high, you are more capable of being happy, positive and healthy.  

Reiki treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.  Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and always creates a beneficial effect.

There are 7 main energy centres in the body, known as chakras. Each chakra is located throughout our body so that it correlates to specific body ailments and physical dysfunctions; each energy centre also houses our mental and emotional strengths.

The clearing of the energy can also balance our emotional state of mind. The Chakra Mind-Body Balance is a two-way street: if there are certain fears and emotions we are holding on to, we experience physical restrictions, too. I use Aveda chakra aroma sprays throughout the treatment to heighten your senses.
